Time flies.

It still seems like yesterday when we met each other and that time I was still seeing someone else.

I'm truly grateful that we've overcome so much and made it this far and thanks for the gift and everything.

I'm still ALIVE!!!

My skin is getting really bad probably due to the dry and freezing weather.

Pimples on forehead popping out like crazy~~

Never had this problem while I was back in Malaysia, all hot and humid.

I mean it's rare to see pimples on my face and I was truely grateful for that.

See the mark on my forehead?? Crap..

In case you wanna ask, I was wearing Vivian something in 3-tone-Grey.

Took the earliest flight this morning.

Was super duper sleepy only slept for 2 hours last night.

It was very cold at the airport and in the plane I immediately regretted for wearing such short shorts!

And oh, wonder how do you all dress up when taking flight?

Dilemma

My black roots are growing now which are about 2 inches long and I really hate this ugly look pudding head.

One thing that I hate the most about it is the vicious-circle of keep coloring.

I'm planning to do something with this pudding head as well as the damaged split ends.

Have been using Loreal hair mask whenever I wash my hair but it's not really working.

SIGH.

Appreciate if anyone can suggest on what to do with it or what products that will really help.

Anyway also stay tuned for my new hair! (Or most probably the same old hair. =)

Green was never my favourite color but olive trend was so hot last year that I couldn't help experimenting with this newly-added-to-my-wardrobe color.

Designed and released earlier this year during CNY, but I quickly found myself getting a lil bored with it.

Perhaps green just isn't my color.

Funny title I know, just so poor at naming things. @@

The skin actually refers to 2 things.

Firstly it's the new look of the blog.

Just wanna keep it simple and clean for the ease of reading.

Secondly, it's about a supplement products that I started to take lately.

Recommended by a good friend of mine and yes after consuming for a week my skin does get more glowing and radiant!!

I have never taken any health supplement due to laziness and forgetfulness and whatever ness that keeps me really busy, but the instant effect is such a great motivation for me to keep up!

I was thinking of taking Collagen drinks or supplement too but wondering which brand is good?

Any suggestion? =)

It's a cute girly kinda of blazer with scallop-like collar in soft pale turquoise.

I had a little fun mixing and matching in same light-coloured tones and clashing cupcake colours!

It was quite fresh to wear something that I usually don't, in case people are getting bored with my usual look! >.<

It's D birthday in early March!

I'm taking the earliest flight tomorrow to KL and will be back to Kuching at night!

Words can't describe how I felt when I received the calls from Tongue In Chic managing editor Sue Ann!!
It's like a dream come true!!
I feel deeply honored to have the opportunity to meet this famous photographer in person!

Finally I have time to share with you all my KL trip on last weekend.
I woke up very early on the photoshooting day,
just to make sure that everything is OK..

While waiting for my turn to get make-up and hair done.

My turn! I was told by the make-up artist that the boss wanted me to look older than I am so..

Hair bun-making Tutorial

To do a more casual hair-bun, these are what you need:

2 normal hair bands
1 telephone wire band

1. Comb your hair with fingers, not comb! Because using comb is a little too tidy and neat.

2. Tie your ponytail with 2 normal hair bands. You can use 1 if your hair isn't as thick as mine. =)

3. Adjust the preferred position. Higher for cuter look, lower for more casual feel. If you're bold enough you can try the highest one, exactly on top of your head.

4. Circle your ponytail around it.

5. Put the wire hair band around the bun.

6. Tighten it up.

7. Adjust the wire hair band.

8. It's done!

It's as easy as ABC!
I bet everyone can do it.. Haha..
Even though the normal hair bands and some hair pins can make the same thing BUT this is more convenient and tighter and harmless to hair.
I hope you won't find this tutorial too boring haha I promise for something more interesting tutorial in the future.. =D

Finally I have time to show you the magazine I got from Kenny the photographer from Eye Store.

It's Ma Bday!!

A simple dinner at Mr. Ho on my actual bday night.

Whenever I don't know what drinks to order, I'll order Iced Lemon Tea which is D fav! In case I can't finish mine he can have it!

I didn't finish this one, because it's alil too crispy for me! In fact I only had 1 piece of meat and had the staff wrapped it up so I can feed the stray dog which is always outside my house..

Finally I have time to update my blog after came back from GZ on last Sunday..
This time I felt so much better than last time because it's fall already!
FYI, last time it was almost 40degree, even hotter in the afternoon!! But this time it was 14,15degree in the morning/night and 24,25degree in the afternoon!
No more sweats, no more sticky feeling, no more bright sunlight!!
I really love the breezy and windy days where I can wear boots and jacket/coats with no worries of sweating like hell!

First night was really windy! Denim jacket from random store, tote from Charles & Keith, tee and maxi skirt from Seventeen Origins.

I wasn't looking at the camera if you see clearly.. Haha guess what I was looking at?? =)

Had double date with another pair of couple last night..

They wanted to go for Sushi Bonanza as it was the last day of promotion..

But the queue was miles-long when we got there..

I was impatience and starving as well so D & I went for something else..

While the couple joined the long queue..

Way tooo salty.. Tasted like chili and salt mixture with hot boiled water...

One of my favourite food but the egg toast served here was literally bad! The breads weren't thorougly dipped in egg, but only the surface was slighly spreaded! -_-!!

After about an hour or so, we headed to the queue and spotted the couple was still lining up..

Poor them.. >.<

So we went to the bookstore to find some books while waiting for them to have their dinner..

We were so boring we read something called "Animal Kingdom"...

& "50 Wonders of the World"...... lol

Beauty Tips 1 Part I

Hi dear readers~
As I promise I will share some whitening tips with you all in this post..
I often get questions from random people/readers asking why do I look fair..
Am I Chinese(from China)/Taiwanese/Japanese/Korean..
And even interesting questions like whether I'm taking whitening pills or injections..
I have no idea what whitening pills are but have heard of micro plastic surgery for face whitening and I'm actually thinking of getting my face done in the future! =)
Don't get me wrong I'm not encouraging anyone of you, but micro plastic surgery is really common nowadays and has no need of going under knife!
So now I'm gonna list out whitening products I'm using, review, info and tips that I've learnt for your REFERENCE.

1. For basic skin care daily routine I'm using a complete range of whitening products from Tull Jye, which is under the Taiwanese local skin care brand Senshido. Google it if you haven't heard of it and sorry for no image available coz I couldn't find the photo showing complete range online.

2. Neutrogena deep whitening mask is one of my favourite masks. I have read somewhere that a famous Chinese actress who is known for her fairness, is using this mask EVERYDAY whenever she has free time. Paparazzi even spotted her assistant carrying a bag full of this mask. It's cheap (Approx RM50+ for 5 pieces) and available at Watson's and major pharmacies. Does this interest you now? =)

3. This mask is so far one of the best whitening mask I've ever used. Instant increase of fairness and moistness are visible once you peel off the mask! It's actually a gift given along with purchase of one bottle of Yangshengtang VC chewing tablets. But I bought it in China and it's not available in Malaysia... :( But the main reason I bought this VC tablets was because I admire the spokeperson (girl shown below) Angelababy. Not a big fan though, just plainly admire her beauty.

4. I have been using this LUX White Impress Shower Scrub for few months and I really love the smell of it. It has some whitening ingredients in it and exfoliating does help to remove the dead skin that causes dullness. It's a very gentle body scrub and can be used daily.

5. As for feet, elbows and knees scrub I'm using Italian brand Perlier Body Honey Miel, which I got it from Sasa. (I couldn't find the exact one that I'm using right now so I replace with other relating products) Because this scrub is a lil too gentle for thick dead skin, so I'll mix it with some sugar. After these parts are scrubbed thoroughly, the skin will become moisturized and really soft.. Do it twice a week to maintain the fairness.
*whatever sugar will do but as for sensitive skin dark brown sugar is recommended.

6. I came up with this idea of applying whitening mask on elbows and knees not long ago. I know this might sound silly to you but I'd love to try out every reasonable whitening methods that I know. I've tried this Garnier Lightening Mask once and the result is quite satisfying! The disadvantage is that you have to bend your elbows and knees for 20 minutes which is quite tiring..

7. Body whitening lotion that I'm using now.. Can't recall since when I started using but have used at least 10 bottles? I usually apply it after exfoliating and before bed (I take shower before I sleep) everyday. It has a milky scent and not sticky at all.

8. Two sunblock that I use: Neutrogena for outdoor and Biore for indoor. Yea, in case you don't know, staying indoors can't actually protect you from getting UV rays. Please take good care of your skin even when you least expect the risk.

That's all for whitening products and I'll continue again with other info when I'm free!

So, tonight D and I decided to dine outside instead of eating take-away food..
We chose Mr. Ho Fine Food, no more Sashimi and Sushi this time..

I kinda love center-parted as it creates a clean and sleek look! There will be no more pimples popping up on the forehead like I had last time when I had fringes.. And even when the wind blows, I have no worries that it'll make my hair go messy.. =)

I once was told by fans on weibo that my knees are rather dark and suggested me to whiten them.. (Please refer to older post which I was wearing mix prints!)
I felt kinda embarrassed that time because the dark-knees thing was actually shadow that caused by the angle and pose.
I personally think it's quite unattractive to have dark knees and elbows..
So the photo above should have proven me right that I do have rather fair knees.. =)
Will you be interested if I make a post writing some whitening tips that I know?

So back to my post..
I was out with D again..loitering around at the biggest shopping mall in Kuching..
(approximately 1/20 the size of Pavilion or even smaller! lol)

So I'm gonna summarize things that happened lately in this single post!

Let's start with the latest one..

Went to Damai beach with parents and D on last Sat!

As some of you might know,

I stay out of sunlight as long as possible..

Which means I will stay indoor during the day and go out at night!

So going to the beach is a hard task for me, almost impossible!!

Just like what I imagined I stayed in the room till the sun almost went down..

And I wrapped myself with towel while watching them swimming in the pool..

Not forgetting the shades and sunblock that I applied/re-touched every 1 hour!

So pathetic but yea I'm like that!

Just arrived home this early morning..

These few days have been extremely tiring and hectic..

Due to too much of walking and terribly hot and humid weather in GZ..

I couldn't believe I actually exposed myself to the sunlight everyday 5 days in a row!!

But I didn't get any darker, compared to my mom!

I did what I usually do: umbrella, sunblock, long sleeves pants!

Whatever I had in my hand I'd use it to cover my face and lowered my head all along the way..

Hopefully the weather can turn better on my next visit.
